Polar Star has strived to keep the legacy of ballroom dance alive. Partner dancing has gone out of style in our public schools and communities, but thanks to the social dance class at Polar Star dances are engaging, dynamic, fun and include lots of partner dancing. A framework for the dance culture provides a secure environment for the youth, where they can learn and grow as well as take risks. When the youth have something they can trust and rely on, they become confident in their abilities to interact with the environment on the dance floor.
Some of the dance fee will also be distributed to the leadership class as leadership is held once a month instead of dance.
